Volunteering at HOPE

Host a night at HOPE—we are looking for a small group of volunteers to sponsor a night at HOPE.  Volunteer groups of 6-12  bring and prepare a dinner for our guests, assist with serving dinner, bedding distribution and shower sign ups.  It is helpful if there are also 1-2 extra volunteers to work with staff on the overnight shift.

HOPE’s Wish List

·         White socks

·         Hats and gloves

·         Men’s and women’s underwear

·         Long johns

·         Blankets—(twin/full size, no quilts)

·         Bath towels

·         Boots –men’s and women’s—adult sizes especially larger men’s sizes—12, 13

·         Heavy winter coats, especially larger sizes

·         Sample size hygiene products, especially deodorant (can be full size), toothbrushes         and toothpaste

·         Adult diapers—all sizes

·         Institutional size pump bottle hand sanitizer

·         Institutional size pump bottle sunscreen or individual packets of sunscreen

·         Toilet paper

·         Paper towels

·         Cleaning products,  HE clothes detergent

·         Dishwasher detergent

·         Postage stamps

·         Copy paper, envelopes, and other office supplies
